Wellington to Auckland by train in 16 minutes

Timelapse of Kiwirail's Northern Explorer train running from the Capital to Auckland. Trip concludes by returning from the Strand station to Westfield depot. Apologies for the lack of a techno soundtrack! Thanks heaps for the four drivers who took my camera along for the ride, especially the kind driver who posted it back to me! The train stopped at Marton for half an hour due to downed overhead - that was edited out. Shot on the 24th of October 2017 using a Gopro Hero 3 on 2 second intervals
