Multiple police cars and motorcycles escort a 363 tonne abnormal load out of Sutton Bridge in Lincolnshire, UK and on into Cambridgeshire. The combination totalled 63 metres in length with a total weight of 363 tonnes. The load itself weighed 164 tonnes. The transformer was being transported to the Walpole Grid Stability Facility from the Port of Sutton Bridge. Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire, and Lincolnshire Police Roads Policing Units escorted the wide load from Sutton Bridge to Walpole via Freedom Bridge in Wisbech. Several police cars and motorcycles were used to shut down roads as the oversized load moved. Manchetts were on standby with a recovery vehicle to move any cars blocking the route.
