How to Apply a Trauma Dressing | One Minute Demos
The Steroplast Trauma Dressing applies instant direct pressure - quickly stemming major blood loss. It allows medics to quickly dress major bleed wounds, applying direct pressure, which stops the blood flow, thus enabling them to deal with further injuries. The non-adherent dressing pad has a single directional action enabling the blood to pass through into the absorbent fibre. The super-absorbent pad is capable of absorbing over twice its weight in fluid, protecting the wound from contamination. This 1 minute demo explains how to apply a Trauma Dressing to a wound. ************************************** ************************************** Step 1: Tear along the perforated edge Step 2: Cover the wound with the pad Step 3: Wrap around the wound - stretch elasticated bandage during application for added pressure Step 4: Seal the pad at both ends so no bodily fluids escape Step 5: Use the velcro to secure the bandage ************************************** ************************************** Products mentioned: Trauma Dressing: https://www.steroplast.co.uk/catalog/... ************************************** ************************************** Contact us: ► Tel: 0161 902 3030 ► Email: [email protected] ► SUBSCRIBE to our YouTube channel to see more videos like this: https://bit.ly/3AKKUnV Find us on social media: ► Instagram: / . . ► Twitter: / steroplast ► Facebook: / steroplast ► LinkedIn: / ster. .
