We travelled 1300KM on the Amazon… with our truck… and had no idea what to expect. What started as a simple journey quickly turned into something else. Life on the river moves differently, chaotic, unpredictable, and completely unlike anything we’ve experienced before. From crowded boats and endless cargo… to remote villages deep in the jungle… this is daily life along the Amazon. And somewhere in between all of that… we’re trying to move our entire expedition truck through it. 🗺️ Season 6 OUR AMAZON JOURNEY CHANGED EVERYTHING This season takes us deep into the Amazon, where the road turns to mud and the river takes over. As we travel further into the heat, our truck starts to struggle… and then… our plans fall apart as tensions in Venezuela escalate. Follow our Amazon journey as it unfolds. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Who We Are We’re a Dutch family who chose a different path: more time together, less stress. Since spring 2021, we’ve been living full-time in our expedition truck, traveling overland and learning as a family along the way. In June 2022, we shipped our vehicle from Europe to Canada and began our Pan-American overland journey.
