Nonstop ride on LIRR train #12, the old “Advance Cannon Ball” Jamaica to Westhampton. 7/19/24

This eastbound hotshot of the weekend summer Montauk fleet makes a long nonstop run from Jamaica to Westhampton. The train was packed but the journey was fast. We had a good engineer who made up time after departing Jamaica about 5 minutes late. We later arrived Westhampton on schedule. All stations, road crossings, and interlockings are identified as we roll east on this gorgeous day. We catch some highlights of my trip back to Babylon at the end of the video.
