There are various reasons why people don't have sexual intimacy with others, or only do so rarely. For some, it never happened, others don't experience sexual attraction, and still others live celibate lives. Livio meets people with different asexual lifestyles. In this report, we discuss just three examples. What other asexual lifestyles do you know? Definition Asexuality is interpreted differently because the absence or partial experience of sexual or romantic attraction varies in intensity and frequency from person to person. ▪️ "Absolute Beginners" are people who involuntarily have no romantic or sexual relationship experience. ▪️ Asexuality refers to people who do not experience sexual attraction to other people. Asexuality ≠ lack of desire. On the libido spectrum, a distinction is made between "sex-repulsed" (repelled by sex), "sex-neutral" (indifferent to sex), and "sex-positive" (willing to have sex). ▪️ Aromantic people do not fall in love or experience romantic attraction to others. ▪️ Celibacy is sexual abstinence and unmarried life for Catholic priests and monks.
