Hans Zimmer, Elton John: Finale to "The Lion King" | arr. organ by Jack L. Stacey

This video was recorded on the 22nd of June 2025, as part of my concert celebrating St Paul's Bakery Hill J.W Walker Pipe Organ's 160th anniversary. The Finale montage that Hans Zimmer wrote is, to me, a fantastic way to utilise the music's pathos from the entire film to encapsulate the experience of The Lion King. It's not only a cathartic release of emotions through the leitmotifs, but also an exciting climax that sends chills up the spine — not just by hearing it, but by playing it as well.
