Welcome to Day 1 of our Northern Xinjiang travel series! In this episode, we officially begin our road trip across Northern Xinjiang as we travel along the famous S21 Desert Highway from Urumqi to Altay. Along the way, we stop at the S21 Desert Park to explore the area, see the desert scenery, and check out some of the activities around the park. After a long drive through the vast landscapes of Xinjiang, we finally arrive in Altay for our overnight stay and prepare for the next part of our adventure.
