First Person with Alfred "Freddie" Traum, July 24, 2019
Through the First Person program, Holocaust survivors have the opportunity to share their remarkable personal stories of hope, tragedy, and survival with thousands of visitors at the Museum. This program was recorded on July 24, 2019. It features Alfred "Freddie" Traum, who was born in Vienna, Austria, in 1929. On June 20, 1939, Freddie and his older sister were sent to England on a Kindertransport. After the war, they learned that the rest of their family had been murdered during the Holocaust.
