DSG Service Explained: The Right Way to Set Fluid Level (VW Passat TDI)

In this video, I walk you through a complete DSG transmission service on a 2013 Volkswagen Passat (NMS platform). This includes draining DSG fluid, replacing the transmission filter, refilling fluid, and setting the correct fluid level using VCDS. If you’ve been intimidated by DSG service—don’t be. Once you understand the standpipe (overflow tube) system, it’s really just a more precise version of a standard drain-and-fill.
