The funeral of Francesca Manfredi, the 24-year-old woman found dead in her home Sunday morning after a drug-fueled party, was held this afternoon in Brescia. According to the autopsy, Francesca died of an overdose, struck down by a mix of hard drugs such as cocaine, heroin, and even ketamine. The two people who were with her, now under investigation for manslaughter and failure to provide assistance, left her in a bathtub for hours before calling for help. Francesca's lifelong friends, Maria and Asia, recounted the difficulties the young woman faced, from family problems to drug addiction, clarifying, however, that before the tragic party, she had never used hard drugs: "She died because someone did things that shouldn't have been done in that house; she let herself be led by the wrong people."
