1960s Westinghouse High-Speed Elevator Machine Room
The machines and generators are original to the 1920s, they were installed by K&H. They are quite massive as well, both the machines and the MGs. The logic was modernized by Westinghouse in 1966, and is incredibly interesting to watch. The controller type is a 2BCRSBLDMR. I’ve heard of Westinghouse 2BC’s (and even filmed a couple of those controllers on my channel), I’ve heard of the RSBL’s, and I’ve heard of the DMR’s, but I never knew there was a controller that was all three of those. If any elevator mechanics seeing this know anything about these kinds of controllers and can provide some information it would be much appreciated!
