Köln 70er Jahre - Und hier ist Chorweiler - Viertelsporträt - housing project in Cologne

At the end of the 1960s, the largest satellite town in Cologne and the state of North Rhine-Westphalia was built on the fields north of Cologne. Here is a loving portrait of an original Chorweiler resident named Ferdinand Michels. He shows us the various large and small buildings, the shopping center, and his commentary delivers perhaps the harshest sound in Cologne's amateur film history. Also interesting is the voice of his unknown companion, who also has something to say about the bad reputation that the district has suffered from from the very beginning. Portrait of the housing project Chorweiler on the fields of Cologne, Germany, built in the late 1960s until the mid 1970s. Amateur cameraman and inhabitant of Chorweiler, Ferdinand Michels gives us some perspective and one of the hardest sound qualities in Cologne's amateur film history. Requests: [email protected]
