Solomon Islands Meteorological Service joined the global community in celebrating World Meteorological Day in Honiara today. The Theme for this year’s celebration is “Observation Today, Protecting Tomorrow.” Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Environment and Meteorology, David Hiriasia reflecting on the day's theme says 'observing today' is not merely about recording data - it is about saving life and protecting properties. #SIBC News
