I had another copy of this show but from a different person recording, much lower quality and noisier. This one sounds pretty good. A nice long set with 27 songs! This show was before BOINGO came out in 1994. They played some new songs from the album along with 2 that didn’t make it. Water is played in a similar way to the demo version for BOINGO, rather than the faster version found in Farewell. Personally I prefer the fast version from Farewell mostly because of the Charango(?) Danny plays throughout the song. The original version sounds more like a proto/unfinished track while the Farewell version sounds much more solid and finished to me. Did It There is one of Boingo’s most mysterious songs being only played a handful of times around 1993 and being forgotten soon after. Unfortunately this show might not be complete, after No Spill Blood ends it's very clear they played at least one more song. Unfortunately the other copy of this show ended at Grey Matter so there’s no way of knowing what else they played. I assume it was some early songs from Only A Lad or the EP since that's what they did at the end of the Halloween 1993 show. Thanks for watching!
