‘WSL Ving Tsun Kuen Hok’ - breaking it down #117 - ‘Chi Sau Concepts’ (Pt.23)

Hello & welcome to week #117 in our series, with this week’s segment taking a closer look at the ‘Seung Gaan Sau’ action which we saw last time as our fifth & final basic attacking action within ‘Chi Sau’ practice. As it also appears within the ‘Muk Yan Jong’ form multiple times, the ‘Jong’ therefore provides us with an ideal way to train & improve the Seung Gaan Sau’ when we don’t have a training partner to practice with. After vigorous training on the ‘Jong’ you will greatly strengthen your core & improve your ability to generate power from the ground & stance, making your ability to apply the ‘Seung Gaan Sau’ effectively under various conditions far easier to achieve. Next week we will look at how the basic five attacks can be “tweaked” to become interesting variations on the theme.
