早く人生で諦めると楽になれる4つのこと【早稲田メンタルクリニック 切り抜き 精神科医 益田裕介】
Today, I'd like to talk about "Four Truths in Life You Should Give Up on Early." I often hear things like, "It can't be helped," "You should just accept it and accept that it can't be helped," "You should just move on and accept that it can't be helped," and "You should just accept that it's an illness." "Accept it and accept it, but the goal of treatment is to increase the number of moments when you feel glad to be born, and to try to experience them." The quickest way to achieve this is to give up four things. If you wonder why people can't accept it and think it can't be helped, it's because they haven't been able to let go of these four truths. That's why it's so hard. On the other hand, I've been able to let go of them in a way, so it's easier for me. So, since it's better to give up early, I thought I'd share with you the things you should give up on. I haven't given up 100%, but I live my life knowing that it's better to give up. ■ Death ~ Impermanence The first is "death." Death comes to you. Death comes to your parents. Death comes to your child. The world is impermanent. Impermanence, selflessness. So there is no self. The world is not constant, and everything tangible will break down. That's why it's better to give up quickly. That death. You may feel uncomfortable, pained, or sad, but you will die someday, so that's all there is to it. The sooner you understand this, the easier it is to accept it. I think it's good because it allows you to use your life more efficiently. ■Loneliness ~ Lack of understanding The second is loneliness and lack of understanding. There are no 100% friends, and no 100% peers. You will never be 100% understood. This is so true. The older you grow, the more you grow, the more successful you become, and the more you pursue something, the less people will understand you. There's no obligation to understand. There's no reason. So humans are fundamentally lonely and misunderstood. Other people's time is also limited, so it's hard to find time to fully understand each person, so it's easier to understand things like this. It's impossible to fully understand someone, either. People often say, "Why don't they understand me?", but that just means they don't understand. It's best to give up on this as soon as possible. ■Ability/Talent, Inferiority Complex, Wealth and Poverty Then there's ability and talent. For example, inferiority complexes and the disparity in wealth that one is born with. People often say that this is unfair, or that it's cruel, and it makes me feel sad, or that I'm worthless, but there's no point in thinking about it anymore. It's the same as thinking about death and what happens after death. It's true that there are differences in ability and wealth that one is born with, so I feel like there's no point in dwelling on it. I want to try my luck. There are many things in this world that we don't really understand, but sometimes I feel like I might actually have some talent, and I'm tempted to just leave it to chance, but it's not really worth it. It's exciting, and it might be something I want to know, but it's better to give up on it quickly. I guess I probably have a decent amount. I think talent is something that's not as bad as you'd hope, but not so bad that it makes you despair, so I think it's better to aim for something else within a certain range. ■Emotions, Instincts, and Endocrine Negatives/Neurotransmitters Fourth, I think it's better to give up on exploring emotions and instincts quickly. It's a mistaken belief that thinking about how endocrine negatives are released, how much neurotransmitters are increased, or how much happiness hormones are increased, all of which translates to happiness and the meaning of life. Animals weren't born to be happy, after all. Humans didn't evolve either. Humans didn't evolve to be happy. Humans are designed to increase their problem-solving abilities through anxiety, which should help the entire species grow. Animals have never evolved to feel happy. The same is true for society as a whole. Not just humans as living organisms, but humans as societies as well. Countries have never evolved to make everyone happy. The same is true for civilization. Civilization has evolved to solve problems, so happiness and safety are merely by-products. I don't think it's a good idea to pursue these subtleties of emotions, the irrationality of instincts, or the inexplicable aspects too much. It's better to give up as soon as possible. Even if you give up at a certain point and ask questions like, "What is my depression like?" and "How can I express my depression and anger so that I can fully express these complex emotions and convey them to someone?" I wouldn't say that it's particularly worthless, but I can understand the desire of artists and others to explore these things, but it's better to give up as soon as possible. After all. It's not that kind of thing. I think it's best to accept that emotio...
