Today was a peaceful and forest-filled day on the road. After waking up at 7 AM and having breakfast, I left Luweero around 8 AM to continue my solo bicycle journey across Uganda — heading west toward new landscapes and experiences. 🌳 The road was calm and lined with thick forests. I even saw some wild animals along the way. It reminded me of the raw beauty of African countryside life — quiet, natural, and green. 🥙 For lunch, I stopped at a small roadside place and had chapati and beans — a simple, satisfying local meal. The shop owner was kind, and he even spoke in his local language on my GoPro. These small moments — language, food, smiles — make the journey beautiful. 🚴‍♂️ After riding about 70 kilometers, I reached a small town called Kyakala. There, I saw a bar and motel, and decided to stay for the night. The price was 15,000 Ugandan Shillings — cheap, clean, and perfect for a tired traveler like me. 🌙 After a long day in the sun and forest, I had a quiet night’s rest — ready for the next ride tomorrow.
