Building a Ruined Italian Castle from Cardboard | Castello di Prampero

A ruined castle near Udine, Italy, rebuilt piece by piece — entirely in cardboard. Castello di Prampero once stood watch over the Friuli countryside near Udine, and today survives only as a weathered ruin. In this timelapse, I recreate it in scale using nothing but cardboard, glue, and a lot of patience — from the first structural cuts to the final weathering details that bring the ruin back to life. ⏱️ TIMESTAMPS 00:00 Intro & research 00:41 Planning 00:56 Walls 04:48 Layout 05:31 Roofs 14:38 Landscape 27:10 Platform 28:16 Colours 37:00 Finalisation 38:55 Presentation 🧰 MATERIALS & TOOLS Cardboard, cutter, instant glue, acrylic paint Got a castle or ruin you'd love to see built next?
