She puts great effort into selecting qualified panelists. She also selects panelists that are different from one another in a number of ways so that viewers can learn more about the 'inner world' of the nine types. Every person on her panel is not only self-typed, but their typing has been confirmed by Katherine. This is important because some 'type panels' have had one or more panelists that were mistyped. This is problematic because some viewers end up mistyping due to their identification with the mistyped panelist ;) For example, counter-phobic (cp) 683s almost always mistype as type 8 (which is very common). Then, later, as an 8 panelist, the cp683 perpetuates their misunderstanding of the Type 8.
