You are identified with your emotional states and their meaning. You see yourself as emotionally deep and seek beauty and meaning in everything you do. You may have problems with envy. Under stress, you may be moody, haughty or overly emotional. Your core fears are of being painfully lacking, inadequate, flawed, defective, ordinary, not realizing your potential and being emotionally cut off. At your best, you are emotionally self-aware, self-revealing, creative and extremely compassionate and humane. Katherine is filling her Zoom Enneagram live discussion 'type panels' with self-identified exemplars of the Enneagram Types and Tritypes® she is interviewing. She puts great effort into selecting qualified panelists. She also selects panelists that are different from one another in a number of ways so that viewers can learn more about the 'inner world' of the nine types. Every person on her panel is not only self-typed, but their typing has been confirmed by Katherine. This is important because some 'type panels' have had one or more panelists that were mistyped. This is problematic because some viewers end up mistyping due to their identification with the mistyped panelist ;) For example, counter-phobic (cp) 683s almost always mistype as type 8 (which is very common). Then, later, as an 8 panelist, the cp683 perpetuates their misunderstanding of the Type 8. For this reason, Katherine's primary focus has been on creating materials, such as "How to Type" and testing instruments, such as her new Enneagram Tritype® Test v8, to help people more accurately type themselves. In addition, a large part of her mission has been to assist our adorable 6s in finding their type early in their journey of discovery, so they can recognize within themselves the wonderful gifts they possess.
