How to Remove and Clean Furnace or AC Blower Wheel

How to remove and clean furnace or AC blower motor wheel. A dirty blower wheel not only reduces air flow but also causes the furnace or air conditioner to run less efficiently. This causes your HVAC unit to take longer to cool or heat the home and costs you more in utility bills. Try opening up your furnace or air handler and peak inside at the blower wheel. If it looks very dusty and dirty, then a good cleaning would definitely benefit your unit! In this video I show you step by step how to remove the blower wheel from the blower motor housing. The job is time consuming but it's relatively easy to do if you have the needed tools.
