101st Airborne Museum in Bastogne, Belgium, Feb 4, 2025
I visited the 101st Airborne Museum in Bastogne, Belgium while on a recent trip to the battlefields of World War II, to honor my father Private John F Flynn Jr. participation in the defeat of Hitlers Germany. My dad's unit the 76th Infantry Division, 304th Infantry Battalion, who was attached to Patton's 3rd Army Group which participated in the relief of Bastone, during Ardennes Offensive (The Battel of the Bulge).
