Sven Klangs Kvintett (Sven Klang's Combo, 1976)

In 1958, in a small town in southern Sweden, car salesman Sven Klang leads a local dance band made up of friends from different walks of life. When the talented young saxophonist Lasse from Stockholm joins the group, his passion for modern jazz soon clashes with Sven’s conservative view of music as simple entertainment. As artistic ambitions and personal tensions grow, the harmony within the band begins to fall apart, revealing conflicts about loyalty, love, and the struggle between security and freedom.
