Fishing UNDER The Pier? Easy way to get on fish!

Pier fishing is one of the best ways to catch fish, whether from above or below! Scavenging for free fishing bait to use while surf fishing is super easy! Especially during the fall mullet run! I am using a cast net to catch finger mullets to use as bait. Later on, I may try to find some sand fleas to use if they’re around. Fish love to bite whatever is already in the water. This week, I am at one of my favorite piers in Florida with Erin, my mom, my dad, and our friend, Loi. We are using scavenged bait to hopefully get some nice-sized trout, flounder, and Spanish mackerel to keep for dinner. I’ve even heard of some nice black drums here!
