DEJA de usar GÁLATAS 1:8 en tus debates ❌ | Curso de GRIEGO BÍBLICO

Galatians 1:8 is one of the most frequently used verses in religious debates. If you present a non-traditional interpretation, even on secondary issues, your opponent will accuse you of preaching a "different gospel." The original Greek text (koyon) has certain nuances that are lost in English translations. For example, Paul doesn't speak of "a different gospel," but rather of "a contrary proclamation" to what he had previously taught. 💭 What was this "contrary proclamation"? The idea—introduced by some—that non-Jews should submit to the Law of Moses. Paul rebukes them because they were abandoning the "good message" he had taught them long before: that the Law had already been fulfilled, and that now justification came through faith in Jesus Christ. ⚠️ So it makes no sense to use this verse to attack any doctrinal differences, but only those who claim the same as those in Galatia: that one must fulfill the Law of Moses to be justified.
