EPA establishes Chiefdom Environment and Enforcement Committees in Sierra Leone
The Environment Protection Agency of Sierra Leone recently established Chiefdom Environment and Enforcement Committees (CEECOM) across the country. When communities lead, enforcement becomes a shared responsibility rather than an imposed one. This sets the tone for stronger local ownership, greater accountability and real, lasting change.
