It's been a while since the last visit to Vegas and I can't wait to see how things are over at the Strip. Feeling a bit hungry so for the first stop, let's hit up the buffets. Now for a while, I really enjoyed the Buffet at the Bellagio, but since the re-opening of Vegas, I've heard they were still in the midst of starting up with only their brunch buffet...and getting things into motion so to speak. So when I passed by the casino and saw a line emerge at 4:00pm, was it a sign that they've brought back their dinner buffet service? Yes, was the case! I couldn't give up the chance to try one of my favourite higher end buffets on the Vegas strip. Would it be as good as before with their offerings of caviar, assorted seafoods, and king crab? I happily intended to find out! The buffet was quite the festive and pleasant experience. I was stunned at the quality of the items as well as the overwhelming choices offered (in the best possible way). While there was plenty of seafood to choose from: oysters (raw and Rockefeller style), shrimps, scollops, and fresh sashimi/poke, gone were the days were we saw offerings of crab, king crab and caviar, ... well, at least for the time being (and at least for the current price point). All seafoods, meats, and everything in between were cooked to perfection, especially the fish! If you go, make sure to indulge in the crab cakes, sea-bass and salmon; definitely do no miss those items, but really, you can't really go wrong when it's a buffet.
