The Prime Minister of Canada mentioned that rather than visiting the typical prosaic, travel, destinations, why not visit Prince Edward Island instead. So I thought I'd take the advice and venture out on a visit to explore the East Coast and Atlantic Canada. After some research, not only is this the place of great scenery and great people, but it has also known as the food oasis of Canada! I suspect the seafood and the lobsters would be second to none especially fresh out of the ocean. I'm excited to try a maritime tradition and that is the iconic lobster suppers! Using everything on the land from the PEI potatoes to the freshly caught fresh sweet lobsters right from the Atlantic Ocean. I was here to explore what it takes to run a lobster supper over at one of Canada's oldest and most iconic lobster supper restaurants on the island, called the new Glasgow Lobster Suppers. However, that would be for another day and I will need to do some research. I cannot imagine any way of doing research then by visiting one of the lobster supper offerings here and it gets better because it is a buffet! This is the fisherman wharf, lobster suppers, and it boasts the islands largest salad buffet with over 60 feet of buffet items being offered. I can't wait to try the great lobster and the muscles and all the other crustaceans of PEI. If you are considering vacation this year, please do consider Prince Edward Island.
