Fabricating custom shock mounts for a BMW Airhead

Super stoked on how the rear of the BMW R90 project is coming along! This week I make new upper shock mounts to fit a pair of 420mm shocks to complete the BMW euro-bobber look. Lots of careful planning, methodical measurements and a little welding are involved. The left shock sits nearly 3/4 of an inch further outboard than the right - from the factory- so watch to see how the two mounts come together. Want to see more of the Custom BMW R90/6 Project?
