Before Civic Talks 2026, our team travelled to a community in Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau State that have been devastated by insecurity. What we found were stories of lives cut short, homes destroyed, livelihoods disrupted, and entire communities forced to flee. Beyond the statistics are real people living with the consequences of violence and displacement.
