SIPS House Build - Catnic Standing Seam Roofing & Formed Concrete Basements (Church Farm Ep6)
#siphouse #sippanelconstruction #structuralinsulatedpanels APOLOGIES - This is a reposted video as originally the Standing Seam Roofing was referred to as Standard Seam, which is just plain wrong and has now been amended. Thanks! Welcome back to the Church Farm series documenting the construction of an eco-friendly housing development in North Yorkshire primarily using SIPS - structurally insulated panels. In this episode Andrew McMillan gives us a tour of the SIPS site and explains how all 9 plots are coming along, including: the formed concrete basements for Plots 3, 4 & 5; the Siberian Larch Cladding; the Velux and Velfac windows; and the Catnic SSR2 Standing Seam Roofing being installed on Plot 7. Additionally, Andrew also gives insight into the benefits of working with SIPS onsite in being able to make revisions and adjustments, plus the joys of delayed delivery of materials during lockdown. This footage was shot in September 2020.
