The Osaka Shinano, Japan's longest daytime express train, was discontinued in the 2016 timetable revision. Now, as part of Nippon Travel Agency's 120th anniversary celebrations, it's being revived for one round trip only, as a modern-day replica of Japan's first JNR chartered special train (the Zenkoji Group Train) from 1908. While running in a manner unique to a group special train, it also allows you to experience the atmosphere of the old Osaka Shinano! Updated with real-time updates on our trip!
