An Orkney summer - coastline
Orkney's coastline is a place full of life. A walk on the shore or a swim in the sea always reveals wild Orkney at its best. Despite the impact of the Coronavirus pandemic across the islands this summer, Orkney's wildlife remained a reassuring constant. We asked local wildlife filmmaker, Raymond Besant, to document our post-lockdown summer in a series of short films this year, showcasing the best of this special season in the islands. His second film takes us to Orkney's sandy shores and the blue sea beyond. Let our cool waters wash over you with our next look back at an Orcadian summer.
