【形式解説シリーズ・783系】JRで最初に作られた車両 特急ハイパーサルーン・きらめき号 グリーン車・普通車・展望室を紹介【1905ハワイ12】小倉駅→門司駅 5/21-01

Nicknamed the Hyper Salon, the 783 series was introduced in March 1988, immediately after the privatization of the Japanese National Railways. It is impossible for a vehicle to be designed and manufactured in a single year, and it is believed that the design was completed during the JNR era. This vehicle brings to mind the image of JNR employees searching for a new express vehicle in preparation for the launch of the new company. The interior is similar to the 485 series. Used by JR Kyushu. Used on all "Huis Ten Bosch" trains and some "Midori", "Kamome", "Kirameki", "Nichirin" and "Nichirin Sea Gaia" trains.
