Meet the Gospel Writers: John (with Michael Card)

Along with guest-speaker Michael Card, we present to you his Biblical Imagination Series in 4 parts as we delve into the life of the Gospel writers and "engage the text at the level of the imagination." This method of understanding scripture, comes out of a desire to bridge the gap between the heart and mind under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. John -- the beloved disciple and precious servant who outlived all of the other disciples. When pondering on that fact, it doesn't then seem so surprising that his Gospel ends up being completely unique to the rest. In what way is it unique? Delve in with Michael Card and I as we share our hearts about our mutual love and appreciation for this beautiful soul who had pastored and prayed through many of Christ's teachings and His person. As John saw a side of Christ that is both unique and extremely precious, his perspective furthermore draws you in to sit at the feet of this old, wise person and listen to his "lived" Gospel much like he sat with his head on the breast of his Master.
