We had the pleasure of filming the world renowned Thanet based icon painter Peter Murphy's tutorial on mixing egg tempera and icon painting here at the shop. It was a wonderful experience for us here and we wanted to share it with you all so that you too can try your hand at this ancient and beautiful craft. We have tubes of Sennelier ready made egg tempera sets on sale at our Margate shop as well as jars of Sennelier pigments so you can mix your own after watching Peter's tutorial. Happy painting!
