Getting started in art journaling

I have just set it up at: https://ko-fi.com/lizchadertonartist Art journaling is a safe space to explore new materials, new techniques, new mixed media and simply play, but you can also use your journal to record your observations and explore emotions and experiences. This is the start of my own art journaling journey, so I hope you can come along with me as I create a two page spread around some of my favourite things. I'll show you my materials and encourage you to use what you have to hand, rather than rush out to get more. I will show how to layer different media on top of each other, using collage, watercolour, acrylic, gesso and pens. I did an excellent online retreat with ‪@LalyMilleArts‬ and it has converted me to the idea of developing a journal. I won't be doing this every day, but every so often.
