Words and Pictures: G (1993) - FULL EPISODE

Michael Hobbs is riding a go-kart and wearing goggles, and there are gates, guitars, garages, and loads more things beginning with the letter G. Best of all, though, we meet some goats and a gaggle of geese, look at how goose eggs hatch into goslings, and learn how to tell the difference between them and ducks. (Spoiler: one way is that ducks find their food in the water, while geese graze on land. Did you know that?) Meanwhile, Michael really brings the story of Gordon and the Golden Goose to life, and there's a segment on what makes us giggle, which is really quite sweet and heart-warming. Note that the whole episode is entirely on location, with no studio shots at all - unless you count the Magic Pencil sequence. I'm still waiting for a proper explanation of how they did those, by the way.
