October 26, 1984 To mark the 25th anniversary of Asterix and Obelix, a Gallic village was recreated at the Jardin d'Acclimatation in Paris by archaeologists, with the help of Albert Uderzo. The artist, surrounded by children and Asterix and Obelix, shares his astonishment at seeing his life-size characters appear. Various shots of the Gallic village, including the interior of a hut and period objects, the druid Getafix distributing magic potion to the children, alternate with an interview with Philippe Andrieux, archaeologist and exhibition director, discussing the exhibition's educational approach, and an excerpt from an Asterix and Obelix cartoon.
