1988 Vintage Specialized Stumpjumper Restomod Bike Check | The Rockcombo Cousin
Another Specialized Stumpjumper from my collection, this time another 1988 variant with the U-Brake chain stay rear brake set up. It's my homage to a recent trip to LA where I purchased many parts from the Cub House who is also a Blue Lug stockist. The crankset I mentioned in the video is a YMC-W Double from Bluelug which is actually a 46T/30T set up. Regarding the Stem it's actually a 'Getting Hungry' stem with the 100 degree rise and (I have to measure when back) the 120mm stemp length variant. Full images and build blog here before it got dirty: https://www.mrrokusho.com/blogs/build... I nick name this bike 'Rugby' because it's easier to remember a bike based on where I purchased it from. And also, I have too many stumpjumpers.. or not enough?
