Update, December 28, 2025: Annie, the western lowland gorilla we announced on December 10, is recovering from her injury. Recent photos of Annie (photographed December 19, 2025) Starting January 2, 2026, Annie's practice in the playground, which was previously conducted on closed days, will resume on open days. The practice time is scheduled for after Gentaro is brought indoors, but as this may change depending on the weather and Annie's health, we will not set a specific time. We also conducted outdoor practice with Annie on a closed day in December 2025, but she has not made much progress beyond taking a step or two in the outdoor playground. As a result, even if we open the door to the playground from the indoor area, Annie will likely not go out, and you will likely not be able to see her. Our primary goal is to create an environment where Annie can feel safe and comfortable going out to the playground.
