Tour de Mont Blanc - September 2025 | Stages1 and 2: Les Houches to Les Chapieux

Two first days of Tour du Mont Blanc, one stage each day. Started on 7th of September 2025. First day: Les Houches to Les Contamines → 18 km ↑ 890 m ↓ 720 🕒 6:30 (without brakes) One of the less interesting days, it passes from a lot asphalt. With 17 $ you can take the cable cars from Les Houches and skip 500 m of ascent. This allows you to take the alternative path and pass from higher altitude, which I didn't do. I stayed at camping du Pontent in Les Contamines. Second day: Les Contamines to Les Chapieux → 17 km ↑ 1300 m ↓ 920 🕒 7:00 (without brakes) This is a more interesting day as it passes through Col du Bonhomme. When descending, there is the possibility to get down to La Ville des Glaciers and save some kilometers of straight road, something that I didn't do, because La Ville des Glaciers didn't have camping. There is also a bus that you can get from Les Chapieux to La Ville des Glaciers the next day if you want. Camping at Les Chapieux is with donation. Music heard on the video: 1st Contact - Cruising
