An Absurdly Deep Dive into Apollo 13

There are many ways to tell this story, many lenses through which to narrate, and so many details that I couldn't fit in even at this length. This is by no means exhaustive. I just hope it brings you into the spacecraft in a way that makes the mission feel alive, and teaches you some fun details along the way! And as a note: the only edits I made to the audio was cutting out the pauses from the light-time delay and some of the "ums" purely with length in mind. 00:00 Intro 1:54 Preparing for Apollo 13 9:52 We are GO for the Moon 49:07 Becoming a Lifeboat 1:06:32 Working the Problem 1:17:35 The Most Critical Burn 1:28:28 Putting a Square Peg in a Round Hole 1:40:24 The Long Coast Home 1:45:51 The Manual Burn 1:47:47 The Earth is Getting Bigger 1:56:42 Reactivating Odyssey 2:04:22 Finally Seeing the Damage 2:16:02 After Splashdown 2:19:19 Wrap Up and Credits Check out the Apollo Flight Journal, an absolutely incredible resource.
