Frampton on Severn with the longest village green in England.
Frampton on Severn is 10 miles south of Gloucester on the east bank of the River Severn, it’s village green in Frampton is the longest in England, measuring 22 acres. The area around The Green is designated a Conservation Area, and the range of Architecture spanning several centuries. We chatted to more people in the village than usual, passing the time of day and we could tell how proud they were of the village. We take a aerial view of Frampton Court, owned by the Clifford family. It is a Georgian stately home hidden behind a long wall, but we do get a glimpse of the Orangery.
