When I first saw the Department Of Defense train in Ohio I knew it was something rare but I did not know what it was until I did some research. The containers say "explosives" on them and the placards have 1.4 on them. Here is what I found when I looked up 1.4 explosives: " division 1.4 consists of explosives that present a minor explosion hazard. the explosive effects are largely confined to the package and no projection of fragments of appreciable size or range is to be expected. " In addition I found this: " Division 1.4 consists of explosives that present a minor blast hazard. Examples are common fireworks, toy caps, empty primed grenades, and some small arms ammunition. " If you can add any more information about this train please leave a comment. Two days later I went to Walton, Kentucky to put my radar unit to work due to popular demand. Sorry that it took me so long to feature it again but I kept forgetting to use it. It will be in a couple of more videos soon. I got a Norfolk Southern mixed freight in perfect light in the evening. It was cold out but that's February for you. The train was headed northbound to Gest Street Yard in Cincinnati. The last train is a southbound train passing in front of the Abner Gaines home. It is headed toward Chattanooga , Tennessee on the Norfolk Southern Rat Hole Line. While on the way to film these trains I noticed a sheriff deputy had a vehicle pulled over on the left side of the 3 lane Interstate 275 highway. A small truck drove too close to the sheriff without slowing down. I saw the sheriff give some hand signals to the truck in a rather animated way. You could tell he was very upset. He then got in his cruiser and I watched him fly up behind the truck and make the traffic stop. I got the traffic stop on video for your viewing pleasure.
