Tonight, we are stepping past the velvet ropes and into the absolute glamour of 1940s New York nightlife. In this meticulously restored and colorized documentary footage, we explore the legendary venues that defined an era. You will see the iconic "Stork Club" on East 53rd Street, which served as the ultimate headquarters for America's elite. We'll visit "El Morocco," the glittering epicenter of New York's famous "Café Society." But it wasn't just about high society. We also dive into the wild, smoky heart of the Greenwich Village jazz scene at "Eddie Condon’s," and witness the brilliant Bill Kenny and The Ink Spots lighting up the stage at the Manhattan supper club, "Café Zanzibar."
