甲子園で学んだこと | Hidetaka Nakahara | TEDxMatsumoto
Baseball is one of the most difficult sports. And there's the pressure of a tournament format where "losing means the end." That's why players focus on proper greetings, meals, and attire, and hone their strengths through repetitive practice. And the coach gathers and analyzes information. Based on his own experience and encounters with renowned coaches from other schools, he discusses the ideal leader for building a strong team. A legendary coach in Nagano Prefecture high school baseball. During his 32 years coaching Matsusho Gakuen High School and Nagano Nichidai High School, he led them to 11 appearances at the Koshien tournament and achieved a total of 14 wins, establishing a golden age for baseball. Currently, as the culmination of his baseball career, he is dedicated to coaching the baseball team at Japan Wellness High School Shinshu Chikuhoku Campus, aiming to make it a powerhouse school where "50 schools from all over the country will come to play practice games in three years." This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at http://ted.com/tedx
