Race Day Nutrition: Fast vs Slow Carbs (Which Is Better?)

Which should you choose? Fast carbs. Slow carbs. All the carbs. But is one better the other when it comes to race nutrition? In this video we talk about fast vs slow carbs in relation to your race day nutrition. Some companies like UCAN have their UCAN super starch products and high 5 have their slow release products, and they all have their own marketing spin on performance. On the other side of things you have fast carbs products like that from Maurten, Science in Sport SIS, Precision Fuel and Hydration and Neversecond just to name a few! I go through the current research around this to try to help you find the answer to inform your race day nutrition and race as fast as you can! Whether this is in an ironman triathlete, half marathon or marathon or another endurance event, by the end of this video you'll have a great idea of what is best for you.
