It was for this reward that the businessman promised to influence the leadership of the RTCC and the Joint Venture to delete the wanted person's data from the "Oberig" system and issue a referral to the Military Medical Commission, as well as the head of the military medical commission to obtain a "correct" conclusion on fitness for service only in the relevant units. After the defendant received 100 fuel coupons with a face value of 10 liters each, he was detained by law enforcement officers in a procedural manner. Police investigators collected enough evidence on the basis of which they informed the detainee of suspicion under Part 3 of Article 369-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, namely, obtaining an unlawful benefit for himself for influencing the decision-making of a person authorized to perform state functions, combined with the extortion of such a benefit. The defendant faces up to eight years in prison with confiscation of property. The court chose a preventive measure for the suspect in the form of detention with the possibility of posting bail in the amount of almost 1.5 million UAH. The pre-trial investigation is ongoing. The Odesa Specialized Prosecutor's Office in the Field of Defense of the Southern Region is responsible for the procedural management.
